Neurologists treat diseases of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles. The most important method we utilize to diagnose and treat our patients is a careful neurologic history and examination. To supplement our history and exam, we sometimes perform imaging studies (MRI and CT Scan), neurophysiology studies (evoked potentials, EEG, sleep studies), peripheral nerve studies (EMG and nerve conduction studies) and blood work. All of these facilities are available at the Diagnostic Clinic of Houston.
